Prince was a great and caring person. Its only coming out now on all the wonderful things he has done for people and didn't want people to know....He deserves this wonderful tribute on the bluff. Rest in purple heaven, Prince.

Put it back! It was cool and tasteful, there was absolutely no reason to cover that up! The city supposedly got 1 complaint, big deal, that person needs to grow up and deal with it!

Out of respect for a MN legend. The Prince Memorial should not have been painted over. Put it back.

It's dumb y'all painted over it. It's not hurting anyone. It's in honor of A legend from Mn! Get over yourself and let people mourn and display their love for him.

I am absolutely ashamed to say I am from this area after the city made south a horrible decision as painting over what was nothing more than a peaceful tribute to a Minnesota native. Shame on you City of Red Wing
