PRIDE Toronto, must be held accountable for arbitrary exclusions

If there's a good reason to rescind a group's permission to march, it should be stated to the group with time to spare.

wow....pride toronto, i am not impressed....i hope not too many homosexuals will suffer from your poor decision making abilities.....because now you banned allies...who already marched peacefully in the pride parade supporting gay rights and emancipation for all lgbt, but now on the basis of a slanderous and flse campaign(of which as homosexuals some of you must be aware is a tactic used by anti-gay people to ban and egregate homosexuality itself....) think about it, in the name fo creating a safe space, youre banning a men's rights association? who already marched peacefully besides you in years past.....what will you say to parents who dont wnat thir children to be exposed to homosexuality.????what will you say when we cant defend you, because we remember being unfairly banned by your pride association...and hence cannot offer any counterargument except the same bullshit youre giving mens rights groups right now : well people feel unsafe around you so hit the road? ...for shame pride toronto...for shame!

Equality of everyone, not just a few.

Equality is achieved when all aspects of life are free of any discrimination

I find it interesting that an "inclusive" group would ban a gay group for not toeing a gender feminist imposed ideological line. As a gay man who is NOT a feminist, I am appalled that I, and those likely, could be so casually thrown under the bus in the name of "equality" if we, as independing individuals, fail to accept a specific ideology-dictated to us by others. As I recall, the gay rights movement, when it started, was about REJECTING demands from others that we behave in a fashion which they dictated based on their particular beliefs. By banning CAFE, PRIDE Toronto has betrayed that history in its entirety by cowtowing to the ideological demands that the gay community, and particularly gay men, adhere to an ideology set by others. This is nothing short of reprehensible behavior.

How ironic that an organization which is gay-friendly was excluded by a pro-gay event because they dared to advocate for equal rights for BOTH genders. It's especially ironic because gay men's issues are exacerbated by the very issues that CAFE addresses. To cite one example, gay men are victimized by violence far more often than lesbian women and feminism will NEVER address the dynamics behind that.

CAFE is not a hate group! they are for equality

exclusion and bigotry and tyranny I would ask Pride too give this some thought. detractors once said some nasty things about gays......didn't make them true, or justify there exclusion

I find it disturbing that CAFE, an organization I support, an organization that does good work, would be banned from the PRIDE Parade without due process or just cause.

This is something truly sad to see. I never thought that pride would cave to pressure to exclude a group that honestly and publicly supports them like CAFE does.

It would be great if all males protested anything to do with Pride Toronto. They obviously aren't deemed equal.

If anyone had spent some time reading about the group, they would soon discover that there is no acceptable reason for excluding them from the parade!

There is no "pride" in your actions.

It's a shame for this country

The people at CAFE invest a lot of time and effort into helping people, and every time you place a unnecessary hurdle in front of them, you get in the way. You demand of them that much more effort which otherwise could have been used to help more people.

CAFE deserves an explanation as to why they were excluded from expressing their support

There are Pride parades in many other important cities like in Montreal. Behaviour of this organisation has put a shadow on who they really are and in many men, fathers and boys minds! You've changed mine for sure. Hope you'll amend yourselves!
