Dear Congress,

We, the undersigned, want you to act now to help protect the world from the impact of climate change. Scientists have confirmed unprecedented temperatures, sea level rise, water shortages, and habitat destruction that threatens our very existence on this planet. We believe that the impacts from climate change have the potential to cause millions of deaths, and we want Congress to focus on setting goals to reduce our carbon footprint. We want alternative energy solutions, less pollution, fuel efficient vehicles, less waste in consumer products, investment in battery technology, and an overall acknowledgment that there is a crisis on our hands.
