I'm strongly against the shelter which will downgrade our area and bring more crime

We are already struggling with like crime related issues and SAPS is not assisting much about, why exposing us to same issue. Also they need Rehab not a place of stay, they were offered place of stay and sponges during covid but they went back to old habits. STOP OPENING US UP TO CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES THAT YOU WILL FAIL TO RESOLVE

I do not agree with the relocation of so called drug addicts (amaphara) to our place (lower Illovo) without any further engagement.

There are many vacant government buildings in the same vicinity as the vagrants currently. The funds allocated for the relocation and possible new accommodation should rather be utilized to fix up some of these vacant buildings. A rehabilitation program to assist these vagrants should also be considered. Government should partner with private companies to assist where possible. Our company can assist with program design.

Im not in agreement for the removal of durban drug addict to lower Illovo It is going to decrease our house value and house break in going to arise Leaners in Illovo primary are going to be affected. Look for other places but not Illovo.

Lower ilovo is not a vagrant dumping ground... we all know that these people will be dumped there and won't be looked after or rehabilitated and there for will find the nearest target
