I say no to the decision to set up a homeless shelter for 800 people in Illovo - We already have a high homeless community on our streets with resulting high crime and lowering our standards and property values - Along with declining tourism . No one wants to come south any more. This move will degrade the south even more.!

Severe prejudice to the community. The location is not conducive for the intended use.

While, I understand the plight of the unhoused, having it so close to a school with drug abuses is not the safest for the community or the learners.

This is ridiculous The South Coast has enough problems with homeless vagrants, drug addicts, thieves, filth and failing sewage services. Leave us alone

As a home owner in the area am not condoning the relocation of paras to our area. We bought these properties with the hope of returns in a long run. So by bringing these people around no one will be interested to buy or invest in our properties. This is totally wrong

We need our community to remain a safe place for our kids. We cannot have this place in our area.

Sewerage and water supply is already a big problem.in this area......moving a lot of people here will Def have the situation worsen....not a well thought idea....move them to another place where the infrastructure will be able to accommodate them

There are a lot of homeless.people already in the area....crime is soaring......beggers around every corner....making the once saught after holiday destination very.much unattractive as it does.not create a safe environment for holiday makers to enjoy themselves.

We already have a huge problem with homeless people in our area. around every corner and at all of the robots and stop streets there are homeless.people standing begging......petty thefts are.increasing as well as drug and alcahol abuse and domestic violence ......the licak resedence are.to be considered in the middle tomlower middle class.....why not re locate them to Ballito bay....they will have more opportunities there to be helped out with money and maybe even employment as Billito bay is considered to be more upper class....your wealthier people stay there.

How is this going to help??? All that's going to happen is that they are going to increase the amount of beggers on the street in the area , and enviable they will find there way back to the city where there is more opportunity. This is not a solution . Jobs need to be created , take the BEE law away and you will see foreign investment coming back to South Africa. Then you won't have vagrants sleeping on the streets, they can work for a living and afford to rent or buy a place of there own. This government has caused all this . Pre 1994 there were way less street people. I sorry to say but the ANC must be the world's worst leadership party ever to come into power.
