Prevent relocation of drug addicts & vagrants from Durban to South Coast

I object to the movement of these homeless people and drug addicts being placed in Illovo.

Why does durban send all the prostitutes and more to south coast. Why not north coast

We don't need more homeless people in Illovo Beach.

Illovo Beach is small community. We don't need more crime and beggars.

Will not be good for Amanzimtoti or for the homeless. Not as big a community to help them as what they have in the CBD

Relocating drug addicts and vagrants from their centralized turf where they can make some sort of income through panhandling, to a semi rural, residential area will result in thefts, petty crimes to support their habits.

They need rehab a place where they can get professional help before being placed with any community

This is totally unacceptable. Why not place them on a piece of land near Umhlanga or Ballito. We must withhold our rates payments and protect our property and possessions at all costs. There will increased crime in the area. The number of drug dealers will increase and our property values will decrease. There will be no interest from business to invest in the ward/town/area. Stop building that facility now !!!!
