I am not happy at all with this idea of housing 800+ homeless people I our area. Our safety will be compromised and drugs will be accessible to our children. The municipality can try to use land far from communities and build some kind of rehabilitation centre for them.

I am against the relocation of the homeless people to our community. We had a nasty experience when once our area accommodated delinquents in the form of YMCA. There was a high rate of break-ins, robberies, and various crime. The relocation of these homeless people will expose the school, church, Temple, business park and the community to heinous crime. The development should stop because there was proper consultation.

NO relocating drug addicts and such is not any kind of solution ....surige already flows down some streets...infrastructure not adequate..crime ..theft..to increase..these people target soft targets like older people and kids....under no circumstances should this be allowed...

I believe the wont solve the root cause. People should be assist led where they are instead of shifting the challenge to a different area

Durban created them, Durban must look after them. We've got our own addicts and homeless people problems in Toti.

I strongly disagree with the proposed relocation of homeless people to the designated site in Illovo/Amanzimtoti region. This will destroy the property market values and ramp crime into another level which we already cannot curb.NO to the proposal.

The state should consider rehabilitation instead of destroying a beautiful town. Residents will land up taking the law into their own hands due to over worked police.

I say No! to the movement of vagrants to Lower Illovo. We're already fighting crime daily in our area. We are not safe, fearing for our lives in our own homes. We're all ratepayers and deserve to be treated as such. Find a place in Ballitto/ Umhlanga/ Kloof for them where there's security 24/7. Our kids going to school are not safe anymore with all vagrants roaming our streets!!!
