Please do not move those drug addicts to lower part Illovo. This is not the solution to the problem. Durban metro must resort to other mesures to accomodate the addicts and vendors. Moving them from place to a nother is simply is short term solution and not long term.

This is not acceptable. We as residents do not agree, nor condone this decision to move them into our area. Why not Umhlanga, North Coast, Transkei or back to the townships from where they came.

Absolutely no to the moving of the Durban vagrants, drug addicts/pusher to Illovu. This is not a solution to the problem. Don't make your problem ours. The city officials have let the problem get out of hand. Now as we have the common wealth games let get them out of sight and dump then on another community

This cannot even be legal to move persons around as though they are animals. the counsil should be trying to find a solution that fixes this problem rather than pass it on to the next person. Toti does not have the security or police to deal with a problem of this size. we are having massive problems with crime and drugs that the community is trying its best to combat and we dont need this extra strain/worry. removing and 'dumping'people somewhere else is unethical and is a cowardly quick fix that will not help anyone. the criminal element need to be dealt with properly, the drug element need to be dealt with accordingly and the homeless element is a goverment problem that needs to be adressed not just shunted around.
