Dumping people so that they are 'out the way' does not solve the actual problem. All you are doing is creating a bigger problem for the locals. You walk away from it, without a care in the world. Deal with the issue don't make it another 'towns' problem

My full support....rather get rehab for these people instead of dumping them on our doorstep....what is wrong with dumping them in Umhlanga or Ballito?

Do not make your problems ours Shifting the buck is not a solution. Stop the drug dealers from destroying our youth .Relocate them instead to prison

Admission by Durban Police and Metro that they fail to police the rubbish so just dump it South? Are they out of their bracket or just plain stupid. Outta Durban so no problem again!! Double doubt this stupidity

Our police force is already over worked and as residents we pay for a private crime prevention incentive, formed to assist the resident Tax Payers of Amanzimtoti. Why should we be burdened with extra problems when we are already over burdened.

I agree that we need to stop ekhetwini from steam rolling this through, why dont they place them in umlazi or foleni , the reality is that those communities will not accept those people being housed there so why should we?
