in your race for equity you will create a race to the middle where nobody is exceptional. THIS is not what you want for the future, is it? No special talents or abilities to be nurtured? No creative thinkers or innovators?
This is not the way forward.

As someone who wants to continue in the arts after high school, it’s really helpful to have the opportunity to go to such an amazing arts school where I can grow and learn to pursue what I love.

Special program is fair for special students. Each students has right to attend the exam and select his or her future base on the different personalities. Don't kill the future for our kids!!!!

Please keep these programs. The reason is that every child is unique and talented kids deserve special accomodation. Canada would become more competent if TDSB keeps these special programs.

Dismantling of specialized programs within the TDSB is such a sad notion. The programs exhist to support children to thrive. They have been developed with the passion and dedication of forward thinking educators who have the vision to see beyond undifferentiated mediocrity.

I went to a specialty school and it was the best thing that could've ever happened to me. I don't know where I would be without ESA's artistic program, I know many others feel the same. DO NOT PHASE THESE SCHOOLS OUT.

TOPS was a life-changing public academic experience. Stopping funding will deprive students of the stimulation/direction to make them meaningful contributors to society.

The definition of equity is giving everyone what they need to succeed. Not indocrinating people into being the exact same. That's simply forcing people who are very different to learn the same way, which they can't. This isn't helpful to anyone. We deserve to learn in an environment catered to us. Taking that away will force everyone to be the same, and kill off creativity in students.
