Get rid of the 4 school boards first. And continue to build speciality schools like ESA based on need and location.

This is absurd. Are we saying no one should have any unique or special skills? Phasing out these programs will make our education system weaker and blander. We need to encourage excellence, not champion mediocrity.

These schools are incredibly important to the fabric of education in Toronto. I know from experience that they deliver an extremely high level of programming and care that reaches a lot of people in many ways. These schools are the basis for which young Canadians can be prepared to contribute to Canada and the world in innovative and inspiring ways. Taking them away will only decrease access to the best quality of opportunities and lead to mediocrity.

This is a shortsighted policy initiative. Instead of helping improve schools that need help they are dismantling successful programs that have a positive impact on student learning.

Not all special programs should be affected because of one student. Everyone has their own talents and we should all be able to come forth and show it.

my daughter was graduated from Cyber Art. It is really helpful for her. I can not imagine this kind of program could put into every school.

Cancelling the excellent programs TDSB has developed does not increased access for anyone. Keep these programs

Yet another reason the TDSB is failing our children. First the math curriculum now this. All the more reason for me to send my kids to another school district or private school. Please do not remove the specialized programs. I moved to a specific school district just for them.

Can you PLEASE just let teachers teach and give them the resources to help kids who need it most (as in...stop spending money on useless "studies") and stop trying to micromanage the people who are at the _actual_ top...the teachers! I send my kids to school to learn and the TDSB seems to spend most of their time and OUR money trying to figure out ways to handcuff teachers and prevent learning from happening. Enough already! It's time the board looked at themselves, not the teachers.

Stop trying to phase out accommodations for students who need them. This isn't the 20th century. Not everyone can learn in the same way.

This is honestly stupid. Some people are in speciality schools for a reason and if they’re taken out it could be damaging to their education.
