Oh my.The TDSB has gone and done it this time.Oh my, and look at me thinking that the TDSB is trying to help children.As a gifted child, I do not find enjoyment or enrichment in most regular activities.The TDSB, just like their curriculum is trying to make things "fair" for non-gifted students.This is where the entire thing starting.This is just a stupid excuse, but it ruins Canada's ( or at least Toronto's) future! How can most people who have signed this petiotion recognize that and trained adults not?Sometimes I feel that school is too loose and that felling is increased now.

Different students' learning abilities and needs are different. Phase out the special program means depriving the rights of the students who need those programs.

This absolutely cannot happen. Without specialized public programs, the gap will only widen not narrow and true Canadian talents will be lost in the shuffle. So many notable students have gone on to do amazing things because of these programs. Please keep them alive!

The IB program has helped me and all my classmates think globally and be a better, more informed person in general. Getting rid of specialized programs will hurt equity, not help it.

Please keep those special program such as TOPS, IB and many others in TDSB. They are very important for our children.

Do NOT even think of phasing out specialty schools. These also serve very unique needs. We are not vanilla in flavour. Perhaps TDSB should cut it's bloated oversight overhead first - now that is just brown to me.

I support to keep IB and other special programs under TDSB. The proposal to cancel all special programs is political driven initiative, not good for our children, not good for our society as well.

All students are different. Some are good at sports, some are good at math, some are good at arts. These special programs provide those students opportunities to enhance their strength and should not be phased out
