Save Concord’s Hildreth Corner from Damaging Development

I fully support this petition. I am a West Concord resident and keenly aware of the mansionization that is occurring routinely every time a modest size home is sold here. My hope is that the efforts to stop construction at this location will carry over to other similar situations throughout the town.

If this goes through then NONE of the zoning rules should apply to us either. I guess you have to be a big entity in town to avoid the rules. Middlesex schools encroachment on Estebrook woods is another example.

One of the most historic intersections in Concord. I pass it every day and marvel at the time honored simplicity of the gracious homes on each corner. Please do not allow an oversized structure to dominate this lovely spot.

Concord must keep this important historical area untouched and the HDC must take a firm stand. We lose a little bit of Concord every year as developers continue to strip mine and exploit our town for profit.

This is one of the more significant crossroads in Concord, a deep history in the Line of March and Country's Foundation where the qualities and characteristics needed to be treasured and preserved.
