Save Concord’s Hildreth Corner from Damaging Development

Absolutely and totally inappropriate. Must keep architecture in scale in historic areas of Concord, if not throughout town. With development like this, we are losing our way.

It would appear that the structure proposed is inconsistent with the rural and historical nature of the existing buildings at Hildreth Corner. The Concord HDC must not be bullied by the builder’s lawsuit and should vigorously defend the integrity of the site by rejecting the builder’s proposal and forcing the builder to propose a more site appropriate structure or abandon the project.

Deny the application!

Please respect Hildreth Corner’s history and Integrity .

The proposed building is inconsistent with the values of the surrounding area.

Concord does not need more "McMansions" in Historic parts of town, especially so close to the Buttrick Mansion and the Old North Bridge.

Please stop this bad faith development

We totally support this petition. The proposed development of this lot is not in keeping with the area.

Developers must be sensitive to the sight and its historical context. We should not let developers define the size of a project and minimum profitability. Concord planning staff and committee members are hardworking and we are lucky to have them. However, I believe these groups should priority the integrity of our neighborhoods and not the ability of developers to make a profit or increase the town's tax base.

Any development needs to be in keeping with the local character and aesthetics.

Deny building permit!!!

Once again developers have little interest the town's charater.

No more oversized structures in Concord. We need a range of housing stock for all incomes, not just the wealthiest.

We must uphold the integrity of Hildreth Historic District and deny this aggressive proposal as often as it takes.

Please deny this developer's plans. Protect Concord's historical land from his repeated attempts to ignore the guidelines for historical preservation.

Big houses started, next in time they will be removed and large condos will be build.

The ecological impact of overdevelopment, and the loss of open space with this particular project, is of great concern to me.

Please do not let a developer ruin Hildreth Corner!
