Stop driving around with flashing blue lights. These can be seen from a long way giving criminals time to hide or escape. More 'covert' or 'foot'
patrols in 'hot spots'.

When I came to Cyprus in 1990, houses and cars were left unlocked now everything has to locked and alarmed. So sad.

Long overdue in Cyprus.Let us hope the authorities take notice. For many years have been with the PEYIA Community Watch but authorities Didn’t seem interested in a scheme of this nature. Good luck with this and hope someone takes notice.

Like in the UK, burglary is not a priority crime for the Police here. Get a report and claim on the insurance - that was the response to a recent break-in in Souni. Hard to believe in such a small place they don't know who is doing it....................
