I oppose the construction of the Grace Fellowship Church on Seminary. The pressure of a 4000 congregant church with plans for immediate expansion of its membership will take an intersection at Falls and Seminary that is already identified as "Failing" and create certain gridlock. More importantly, this facility will be on well water and septic, sharing the aquifer with adjacent homeowners and communities. Brierleigh, immediately behind the proposed project, was slated for 45 homes, but only 11 were ultimately realized, due to lack of water. Wells in the community have failed, as have others off Mays Chapel. Finally, there is a grade 3 trout stream on the property, which many years of conservation have both nurtured and preserved.
