Why are we paying so much for hydro in this province? On top of reinstating their employee pension funds (no-one is helping me with mine!) there are two price hikes a year. My hydro jumped from 236.41 (Mar18-May19) to 405.93(may19-July 19). I expected an increase due to air conditioning but REALLY????? People will start losing their homes soon..and by the way do you not think this gives way to "smart" water meters, "smart" gas meters and so on????? This has to stop......I have tried EVERYTHING to find out why there has been such a price jump and all I am told is that "we had a hot summer". These "smart" meters are certainly "smart" for the government and hydro employees. I am gettinig tired of paying for everyone else's salary and pensions.
