The undersigned homeowners petition the Prestwick Property Owners Association (POA) to complete the installation of the white security/privacy fencing around the Prestwick community.

We believe that the completion of the fencing will:

· improve the security of the Prestwick properties,

· enhance the appearance of the entire Prestwick community from public roads,

· contribute to better property values, and

· uphold the overall exceptionality of the Prestwick community.

The white board on board fencing currently runs behind Prestwick properties on Hwy 396, beginning at Catherine Avenue, and extending to Manchester Place. In addition, the N. Highgrove Court and Braewood Court properties that back up to Catherine Avenue have the white fencing. However, the fence stops suddenly behind Braewood Court and has never been completed for the remaining properties along Catherine Avenue.

Prestwick has been diligently working to resolve security issues, and it is believed that the six-foot fence will provide not only privacy, but also much needed security for all residents. This lack of continuity in the fencing (from clean white fence to chain link) around the Prestwick properties negatively impacts the aesthetic appeal that the Prestwick community continuously strives to achieve. In addition, it has a unfavorable affect on the property and resale values.
