Dear PT Management,
We are writing regarding two significant concerns affecting our residential community.
First, our gas bills have approximately doubled in recent months with no explanation. After speaking with Conservice, our community uses one meter with costs split by square footage rather than actual usage. We request an immediate meter reading to check for malfunctions or leaks that could explain this dramatic increase.
Second, the elevators in towers 2,3 & 4 break down often and the escalator has been non-functional for months. Despite these ongoing service failures, conservancy and utility charges have increased, which is unacceptable.
Given these circumstances, we request a rent reduction until all issues are permanently resolved. This reduction is not merely a request but a reasonable compensation for diminished services and unexplained cost increases. Residents should not pay full price for incomplete amenities and potentially faulty utility billing. We are willing to resume paying full rent once all services and utilities issues are permanently fixed, but until then, a reduction is warranted.
