Dear President Trump: 2020 Determination on Refugee Admissions

Please accept more refugees!

I am a teacher at the Rochester International Academy. We teach the world and I hope that we will be able to continue to do so.

Please increase the number of refugees. They have helped make the Rochester, NY area a vibrant community, and they are great neighbors! We cannot turn our back on those fleeing war. We fought the Nazis, but left millions of Jews to perish at their hands. We learned once. Never again.

We have a responsibility to welcome refugees.

Helping refugees is something we as Americans can and should do....we have a responsibilty to help people fleeing their homelands because of war, persecution, discrimination and voilence.

I help the refugee population in Rochester learn English and prepare for citizenship. Their courage and determination is inspiring. Our community is so much richer because of their presence. Please allow us to continue to enrich our world.

We as a community are ready and willing to welcome and resettle refugees.

Please continue to let vibrant refugees in from all over the world to keep America great.

I have worked with thousands of refugees in Rochester and find them to be hard working wonderful citizens of the world.

We implore you to raise the number of refugees that will be allowed into our country for the next fiscal year to 75,000.
