As a scholar of the Central American diaspora and the daughter of a Guatemalan immigrant, it matters a great deal to me that we have access to all documentation about the civil wars in Central America. Thus, I vigorously support this request for the declassification of all documents in the period before, during, and after the Salvadoran civil war.
