I fear this professor may assault his conservative students. Clemson is now aware that Bart Knijnenburg has advocated violence against half the nation--the half that voted for Trump or is Republican. This includes those enrolled at your school. Hope Clemson has enough insurance when he attacks one of your students.

Based on their actions to date in this matter, Clemson is just another "higher education" joke; a waste of taxpayer and tuition-payer resources.

In addition to signing this petitions you should go to the page where an "Important Message" from Pres. Clements and the Faculty Senate Pres. was posted and leave a comment. I think that would be a more direct route to having your voices heard.

As an alumuns, a conservative and a parent with aspirations of my daughter enrolling at Clemson in the future , I am appalled that this individual should be allowed to indoctrinate future youth into his hate and bigotry. There is No excuse or explanation for allowing this individual to spew his hate to malleable children

My taxpayer money should not be paying for his hatred. Fire him now!

As a Clemson alum, who donates a lot of money to Clemson athletics, and comes from several generations of Tigers as well, I am embarrassed of our beloved university for the first time in my life. Not only am I embarrassed, but I fear for the safety of our students and staff. We need for our minds to be at ease.

My son is in his first year of college at Mercer University. If one of his professors, or a professor at the school posted this hate filled comment, I would be driving down to Mercer, sitting outside the president's office, asking why they employ a hate filled instructor at their University. Having political views is fine, being hateful is not. It crosses a line that SHOULD NEVER BE CROSSED when someone is influencing students. By not removing from his teaching position AND the University, you are condoning hate speech and a toxic environment.
