It's already burdensome to get through the requirements for building and renovating. We don't need more restrictions.

I am not in favor of this as a member of the community living on South Adams. We already have enough restrictions through city of Rockville and it's hard enough to deal with permits as is.

I completed the survey because the wording of the questions raised a lot of red flags for me. Otherwise, I may have disregarded it entirely, as I'm sure others did. There is a big difference between "what do you prefer?" and "what do you think should be restricted?" The survey implied the first question.

This proposal needs more context and exposure to us citizens that will be impacted by it.

Taxation without representation here. This needs to be on a ballot measure to be actual representation. Why isn't it? Who is making money off of this?

I completely support this petition. We do not need anymore restrictions
on what we can do with our own property.

We neither need nor want anymore restrictions on what we do with our property. Government in Maryland, MOCO and Rockville are already overbearing.

We need to preserve the current character of West End as a diverse neighborhood.

I am against the City of Rockville overreaching and impeding the rights of property owners.

I do not agree with the actions of this small group thinking they speak for the entire neighborhood to change things. The reason people move here is there is no homeowners association. We need to leave things just the way they are!

WECA is really overstepping. This would benefit nobody and would hurt the property values and the diversity of the neighborhood.

It’s un-American to assume we can be pushed in a way that our makes our side of Rockville unique. There is already an overlay district being the city of Rockville on top of the restrictions from being in Macgomery county to ensure protection for its residence. The few people that are spearing this campaign should not be our representatives as a couple of them are in the planning office that are trying to push their own agenda. One is a gentleman named Brian who claimed that the county and the city the way they have restrictions right now allows “shanty style housing”to be built. This lack of respect for Macgomery county and for the city that has already imposed its restrictions is unsettling.
