JW Homes plan proposes putting a street up against my backyard with three houses facing my backyard. I met with them personally to discuss this and let them know that cramming houses in behind me with no buffer is against the spirit of the OSC (open space community) code they are proposing. Instead of negotiating in good faith, their VP of Land Acquisition approached me on the phone saying he would remove the 3 homes if I could get my neighbors to stand down. I am offended and find his methods un-American.

I am especially concerned about the impact that development is having on the already heavily trafficked roads of West Cobb. Construction vehicles themselves are damaging the roads and traffic gets heavier each year. Unfortunately, the DOT's formula for tracking traffic flow once every 10 years does not keep up with the rate of growth in the area.

Current zoning is appropriate for the area. Leave it as is.

Would appreciate if the county please keep the current zoning for District 1. Traffic in this area is alreday stressed and additional homes would make the congestion even worse... Please consider this request.

Please vote NO to Z-46. We feel the builder should respect the current zoning plans and maintain the R-20/R-30 zoning, providing the inherent quality neighborhood houses those larger lots typically provide. A denser housing solution is not in keeping with the intent of the current zoning ordinances and does not help nearby home owners grow the value of their homes due to the increased traffic, crowded schools and potentially lower nearby home values.

i hate the traffic already this will just make it worse and pobably make me late, this a bad idea because your already adding traffic why are you increasing it!
