I live at 2351 Thornwood, right across from the park. I appreciate the plan that will preserve as many trees as possible. And I am very opposed to anything else being done to the park. I recognize that storm relief in this area is needed, but no one is clambering for public restrooms or sledding hills. This is to help with neighbors' basements, not an excuse to spend money on things those of use most affected don't want.

This is so vitally important, our trees are our history our tributes to loved ones. And our park is precious and used constantly. I would rather it not be used at all. We live on the park and it’s our life and our property value.
We will be looking into the flood impact to those homes too, regarding the installation.
We would choose configuration #2 the smallest footprint.

I would like to retain the natural beauty of Thornwood Park and keep as many trees as possible, as well as the current topography and lie of the land. I would not like to have the addition of a sledding hill or any other new amenities. I would also like the park to usable as soon a s possible so using sod rather than seed is preferred.
