This is the only place close that you can ride legally without traveling out of state. this outdoor recreational activity keeps people out the streets and keeps them from going down the wrong path too! Kids and adults enjoy this sport and it would be a loss for the state of CT to take it away!

I ride here. We have. I legal trails in Rhode island. Don't kill out hobby. There are thousands of hiking trails in new England. There are very few legal dirt bike trails.

I have lived in Thomaston most of my life. There are a limited amount of places for people to ride freely and safely throughout this state. Taking this area from responsible riders may increase the likelihood of people riding in inappropriate or less desirable places.

The Thomaston damn has been our riding spot for yrs the state doesn't provide any legal riding and you want to take this from us this is very unfair to those whe register our bike and pay taxes for minimal riding land
