These fees should goto opening public riding areas. But there are non except the thomaston dam provided by the US army Corp of engineers.

There are plenty of walking spaces but very very limited areas for off road activities which promote alternative healthy activities for families. Keep the off road space available to the public.

There are more than plenty of walking trails in CT. There are very few atv/off-road trails.

There are not many places to ride off-road vehicles around but numerous walking paths for the public to use , unless you want to cruise around the streets of Waterbury!

Thomaston Dam has been a CT staple for the off road community for years. It is one of the last places to ride legally for public use in CT. PLEASE keep it open for off road motorcycling use!

To you whom It may concern. Taking away off-road motorcycling at the thomaston dam will negatively impact many families and individuals that ride there on a yearly basis. It’s one of the only two legal off-road riding areas in CT. I myself, along with friends and family have been riding there for 25 years, it would be extremely sad to see this area be shut down to off-road motorcycling.
