There are limited places to go riding and thomaston dam is a wonderful place to go. To eliminated any portion of it would be devastating... There are not many places in thomaston that teenagers can go to have good clean fun. Family get together riding all over the day area...PLEASE KEEP IT FOR RIDERS. I'm also a walker and I enjoy walking around the day too...I don't mind the riders coming up and around me...we all get along...why now?

I’ve been riding there since I was a kid. Now I’m bringing my kids there to ride dirt bikes with. I grew up in this area and there’s plenty of places to hike besides the Thomaston Dam. Please keep this area for the riders we have such a little in the state already.

There are many other areas for walking and hiking in the town and state. This is one of the only areas to enjoy dirtbike riding. I rode here when I was younger and it was a great experience. I know fathers who bring their sons and daughters there to ride. Please keep this area for recreational dirt bike riding

Leave this to be enjoyed by our kids and there dirt bikes, etc. One of the biggest adult gripes is about kids doing nothing or kids doing the wrong thing , kids getting in trouble and more. This is a much needed venue for them.

We struggle sooo hard to keep this recreational sport alive, but the overgrowth if the walking and hiking community is suffocating what little is left.
There are already thousands and thousands of hiking, walking/ non motorized trails its staggering.
Please reconsider closing the moto area. If we dont have a place to go legally.. guess what happens. We need to get stealthy or travel long distances.
Neither of our communities want that

Don't ban the dam! Dirt bike family riding is our chosen form of recreation in Ct and this is the only place legal.
