We need to keep open what few riding areas we have. We pay sales tax, OHV fees to the state, We should have places to ride in the state.

Grew up riding down there and now I ride them trails with my son this is one of very few places to ride in the state and taking it away will impact the younger generation who are losing every place to ride already if they don’t belong to a private club they have no place to ride with out Breaking the law
This state wants you to register dirt bikes and ATVs to ride on private property come on people do something for the kids take that tax /registration money and put to good use not another walking trail! There are plenty of quiet Roads in north west CT these tree huggers can walk on to see there birds or do what ever they do !

Please run the walking path on the opposite side of the river (eastern side) from the riding area (western side).
One accident with a pedestrian will eliminate the riding area. The only legal riding area in the State for ATV plated bikes.
There are plenty of walking paths in Connecticut and there are other options that will be safer for walking than going through the riding area. This is a flood zone and also a hunting area. Not an ideal area for a walking path.
Please do not the walking path through the riding area.

I've spent my childhood riding the thomaston dam it is the only legal place I know to ride in ct there are plenty of places to walk

Riding dirt bikes kept me off drugs and out of jail a lot of my friends did bad things when they sold their bikes
