The shipbuilding industry in Medford is fascinating and it goes to the roots of American history so saving it is important.
When Medford realizes it and showcases it, then people will be able to see its beauty.
Until then...

I think this is a smart idea to preserve historic sites. Once it's taken away can never be replaced. Please have some foresight to protect our history.

This historic house should be preserved. There is more value in our shared history than in short-term financial gains for developers.

It’s time for Medford to stop destroying our historical homes in place of greed! I’m a life long citizen who is all for progress but this city has been going astray from its roots and history all in the name of greed.

There is true value in saving historic structures, and this is a prime example. Please reconsider any permit to demolish this house.

I'm not a resident of Medford but have friends who live in the community. Residency aside, this issue affects us all. Our historical legacy should not merely appear in books and articles; history must remain as prominent structures in current time as educational opportunities for generations to come. They provide a sense of place, of belonging, of culture, that photographs cannot entirely convey.

The house may look plain, but that's not the point regarding historic structures. Pleases try to find a create solution that allows this structure to be retained.
