My father ran the coronet the first 12 years of my life. This theater was a monumental home to me and continues to be. It was no doubt one of the most important cultural monuments of Los Angeles.

This is a wonderful old theater space which provided hours of joy and entertainment to me personally over the years. And the fact that it was built by a woman makes its historical significance that much greater.
