I really thought this might just stay a small local thing but looking at the momentum now is honestly making my head spin a little bit. It is wild to think about how many people actually care about our woods and the safety of our streets when I was worried I was the only one losing sleep over this zoning change. Now we have to figure out how to get all this energy in front of the council because they need to pay attention.

Against. We do not need to create an empty box store in neighbor hood by adding another grocery store to an already saturated market. Harris Teeter decided to exit Gaston County and leave customers high and dry out of fear of Publix. Say No to a store that is not needed and a project that lines the Mayor's pocket.
9 grocery stores? Are they serious?? We dont need more empty lots in 5 years when these companies pull out. Stop ruining our neighborhood for a quick buck.
Robinwood is already a nightmare to drive on during rush hour. Adding a stoplight and trucks will just make it worse. Leave the zoning alone!
What about the lakes? Heatherloch is already struggling with runoff. This is about money over the people who actually live here.

When is enough, enough? I live in Su San Farms and see no reason for another grocery store. We have two three groceries within a few miles already. There are enough empty buildings scaring our town. Do we really need this?
