I feel that allowing bicycles in Pawnee Prairie is a terrible idea. It would adversely affect safety for horse riders and hikers, as well as lead to destruction of the trails by bikes. There are so many opportunities for cyclists in other parks, that opening this one for their use is unnecessary.

Pawnee Prairie Park trails should remain equestrian /hiking only trails. I have ridden there with my family. Allowing bicycles on the trails would create safety issues that no one wants. Please leave these historic and unique trails to their current designated users; horses and hikers.

My family and I have enjoyed this park for many years! It is the only park around for horses! I love it, it reminds me of Maine's woods where I used to live! Don't want to lose a great place to spend hours of riding!

PPP is an amazing place on the outskirts of South/West Wichita and provides a unique and scenic view and experience not only for walkers, joggers and hikers but for horseback riders as well.. It's already established that Wichita and surrounding areas have ample bike riding paths and parks and city streets. Please take this into consideration before allowing bicycle traffic in PPP. It would be for the best to preserve what the park was intended for. Thanks Jodie O

Please keep the park as originally indended. Horse & foot traffic only. These trails are not safe for multi use (bikes, hikers & horses). To the bike world this is just another place for them to ride, to us it is the only SAFE place to ride trails.

Bicycle riders have plenty of other places to ride, Pawnee Prairie is the ONLY place where horses are allowed and needs to remain horses/hikers only.
