Preserve Our Neighborhood-Help Remove Illegal Commercial Activity/Parking From Our Street

We, the undersigned residents of the 110th Ave Civic Association and the surrounding areas, are requesting action to stop the ongoing use of street and residential property storage by a resident on our block as a commercial trucking business and other commercial activity. The resident at 212-05 110 Ave. has 53' trailers dropped monthly onto the street, along with box trucks, tow trucks, forklifts, and other heavy-duty vehicles consistently operating and parked throughout the day/night and on weekends in the area.
This activity is negatively impacting our neighborhood by:
- Creating safety concerns for pedestrians and children
- Raising environmental concerns
- Creating a negative aesthetic impact on our community
- Eventually leading to an economic impact, resulting in the devaluation of our property
Our block is zoned for residential living, not for operating a trucking business or other commercial activity. We believe that everyone deserves a peaceful, clean, and safe place to call home, free from illegal commercial activity in areas not zoned for such activity.
We request that the Council and local authorities investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to ensure the resident complies with residential zoning laws. Let’s work together to keep our community a place where we are all proud to live!
