We should always have the right to raise our own food as much as possible. We live in the usa where there should be freedom to decide how we want to eat. Government you got plenty of power, you don't need it all.

We have the right to feed our family. They don't have the right to try and stop us.

We have chickens (and a rooster) just up the block from us, and have NEVER had any issues. Fresh eggs are important for people to access, especially in this economy.

My family raised chickens in west point for years. I can even remember a cow in town. This is ridiculous.

Chickens don't smell, they aren't dirty and they aren't noisey. There eggs are high in protein and a healthy alternative to store bought, chemically instanced eggs.

My concern is basically why Punish all Owners … Like … In the old school days … Punish all for the ones who did it … I don’t have Chickens … When I grew up on 13th Street, 2 neighbors had Chickens … For food as well as eggs. Never a problem at the busiest intersection in town. Times change, however in our Town only 6.2 square miles large, there must be a more pressing agenda than Chickens.

Don't own any fowl but damn sure don't want officials saying someone can't. Doesn't hurt anything or anyone!

The benefits of responsibly owning poultry far outweigh the disadvantages for our community.

Chickens and ducks should be allowed to be raised and kept on personal property.

My chickens are fine, and just because of one person's mistakes does not mean we have to all be brought down.

My chickens aren't hurting anyone. I should be allowed to do raise them on my property.

No one is getting hurt by chickens. People deserve the right to have them for food and pets.
