Preserve Green Space in Medford

Water is a significant concern for all of the neighbors in our neighborhood, and other area projects are also limiting wildlife habitat.

It is vitally important to protect our conservation land.

It is important to keep parcels like this as open space, providing stormwater retention, habitat, and health benefits. The impacts go well beyond Medford and nearby Malden, as loss of tree cover is contributing to regional desertification and to climate change.

We need to protect and preserve conservation land. We cannot allow development on this land as it would threaten the environment and the infrastructure of our neighborhood.

my concern is with the wetlands, and the negative impact on groundwater retention and drainage. I am very much opposed to building this new residential subdivision

I am against this construction. I aftaid that it will disturb the already strained water table and caused increased flooding on Cedar Road North area.

The greater Boston metro area is already congested as is. We need to stop expanding into every available piece of green space just to make a quick dollar. These types of expansions will lead to long term harm of our environment.

Use the space to create a example of permaculture or food forest. This is a great way to build soil and hold soil to manage the flow of water in a manner to minimize or eliminate soil erosion and slow the rate of watershed to reduce strain on storm water management. Permaculture implemented in this space can display the tenets Earth Care, People Care.

Green space and wetlands are needed, otherwise we'll end up with more pressure on existing overused sewer systems.

We're sprawled out too far already.

Save some space. Save our neighborhood!

I live on 8 Nathaniel Road Medford, MA. When I bought the house the builder told me there is a bird sanction that borders my land in the back. He said they could not build beyond my property.

My house abuts this land and we were told this land was conservation land when we bought the house less than a year ago...

My daughter loves the wildlife that comes from there.

I find it hard to believe they are allowing development on protected wetlands when I'm forced to jump through hoops when I needed to replace an existing fence bordering it
