Preserve a Historic San Diego Site: North Chapel at Liberty Station NTC

As a former US Navy sailor who attended that church for numerous weddings, this historic landmark should be maintained as is.

There is no turning back once a company has made a mistake that this would be. Rather, be known as a company that does GOOD as well as one that just makes money!

The restoration of Liberty Station is a beautiful addition to San Diego. Turning the church into a revenue producing establishment would be a great loss to an otherwise magnificent place.

Please just think about what you are doing! This is an iconic structure. It is the most beautiful building in Liberty Station.

This is an iconic chapel. It has served San Diego well and should be left as is...

They're too greedy...stop spending money at Liberty Station, most services are overpriced in order to pay the high rent.

My wife and I were married here in 2008. I cannot believe they would turn this into a restaurant

The venue should remain a chapel, and could be rented out as a wedding venue if it needs to bring in revenue.

The Chapel is a reminder of days long gone & memories not to be forgotten. The ceremonies that have taken place in there, the marriages & baptisms, memorials & funerals are all a part of our history and shouldn't be destroyed in the pursuit of another dollar or 2. Does Liberty Station really need another shop or restaurant?

I don't see European countries tearing down their old village architechtures or churches and synagogues for alternate purposes. Preservation is so very important. I have too much to say about how things are going around here so I'll stop while I'm ahead.

I spend almost half the year here in Liberty Station and hate to see so much property turning to commercial ventures. I love the feeling of history in these old buildings - and the Chapel is definitely one of those that should be preserved.

My neighbor (now passed away) was the organist during the ww2 years and the recruits called her "mom". I would hate to see the legacy and history of this chapel disappear forever. It should be preserved for all to remember.

My husband and I attended a beautiful Christmas concert at this chapel one year which was unforgettable! Why not use it for more local concerts like this?

I agree the chapel should not become a restaurant! I was married there in 1969 and believe it should remain a chapel.
