I Would like preservation. I drove through RTC on my vacation. Showed my family the little that is standing. A chapel that is still in use should stay.

Given its location and architectural significance within the historic NTC and that it was built to commemorate sacrifices of military personnel at Pearl Harbor, the facility should be preserved as an historical landmark.

Navy traditions, especially in San Diego need to stop disappearing. The Chapel brought lots of peace and solace to many Sailors and Marines. Don't destroy history and memories!

I went to boot camp at RTC/NTC San Diego from Sep 72 to Dec 72 and attended mass at the chapel every week during that time. It has a very special place in my heart and reminds me of starting a wonderful career in the U.S. Navy and respectfully request that it be preserve on behalf of all sailors that went there.

PLEASE SAVE NORTH CHAPEL. MAKE IT A MEMORIAL TO ALL WHO ATTENDED NTC. DON'T LET IT FALL VICTIM TO SOME GREEDY DEVELOPER. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS PASSED THROUGH THERE ON THEIR WAY TO WAR, INCLUDING ME, I SERVED IN VIETNAM.

The ignoring of historical sites and the desires of the people, and the underhanded financial deals that only focus on profit for the few, has got to stop. Where are Zapf, the mayor, and our other councilpeople?

Many vets for many years worshiped in this chapel. Maybe even your dad, grandpa, Bill Clinton ruined the base, please leave something that sacred alone. Restore it to its glory. God bless America. I remember praying in there after my father passed
