Keep the trails for the new younger generations. I've ride BMX for 33 years.

City Parks and Recreation need to keep places like these open to the community. Spots like this get kids and adults alike out there and active, gives them something to do and keeps them out of trouble. At little cost to local/city governments.

Kids need this stuff and a lot of us adults require adrenaline to be happy. I’m a miserable person if I go 2 weeks without pushing myself on 2 wheels. When I turned 18 I bought our local bike shop because it kept me off the streets and gave me something to do that was difficult and creative. I bought it, nursed it back to break even and sold it to someone I could trust for one dollar. It’s still in business today 20 years later. I’ve taken action and put my money where my mouth is. All we’re asking you to do is… nothing. Perhaps turn the location into a park so you can post ride at your own risk.

This trail provides a healthy and safe recreational outlet for people of all ages. Shutting this place down would be a complete disservice to the community.

Trails keep youth active in sports and build friendships. Not all kids are interested in team sports and they deserve a place to enjoy their sports.

Austin is a leading bicycle community for the country. Places like Tejano Trails with the great volunteers need the support to continue it's success.

Tejano Trails has been a positive place for the community of the Austin greater area for over a decade. It’s a place where families from all economic backgrounds can come together to enjoy nature and be active. We are hopeful that the city will see what an encouraging place this is for people to learn bike confidence, skills and have pride in their community.
Keep fighting
