Please preserve these trails for current and future riders! Years of labor and love have gone into building and maintaining the Tejano Trails. They’re a free outdoor recreational asset to the community, which is all the more welcome and needed amid the pandemic.

Ease save this trail. It helps keep the kids and adults have a safe venue to ride their bikes. Cities have become so populated with commuters that you cannot ride a bike in street safely anymore.

Places such as these dirt jumps and skateparks are the basketball courts and baseball diamonds of our current time that come with an infinite season. When spring training fires up every year the youth flee
To the diamond, come fall there foot prints scuff the gym floors. After their annual time the weeds grow over home plate, the gyms echo the wind. Action sports facilities of all kinds I would say are statistically a more consistent investment in our time and resources for our youth and current generations whatever maybe.
For what it’s worth I was a
Professional BMX athlete and have worked in the bicycle industry for almost 20 years. And carry many accolades based around youth development.

Places to recreate, and more specifically, places to ride, are increasingly important in our community. The benefits are proven by myriad metrics. Please keep these trails open and accessible.
