This is a call to our State Legislature, Medical Communities, Pharmaceutical Companies, and Community Leaders to support the ONDCP's Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Plan in South Carolina as well as the various programs and initiatives the government, medical communities, law enforcement, and communities that are involved.

This is a call to our State Legislatures to fund the South Carolina Board of Education in reforming the drug education curriculum in schools across the state with updated information about the consequences of prescription drug abuse. It is important to understand that not all citizens have the proper medical or technology to access the most current information about this epidemic.

This is a call for the Medical Communities and Pharmaceutical Companies to stop over-prescribing medications that only lead to addiction. To monitor the dispensing and use of narcotic prescription medications.

STOP THE OVER PRESCRIBING. We are losing way to many kids in this state. Enough is enough.

Schools really need better drug ed. The stuff they teach now is outdated and kids dont listen to it anyway.

Big pharma is too greedy. They know what they are doing to our neighborhoods.

I had a surgery last month and my doctor tried to give me 60 painkillers for a procedure that barely hurt. I said no thanks. This is definitely a huge problem.

My brother lost his life to pills 3 years ago. Doctors just hand them out like candy. About time someone did something.
