Year after year, students are forced to take the same redundant classes. After high school, these students are forced into the world, having no idea how to actually function or thrive in society. Therefore, I suggest an education reform that states after 10th grade, students must take on real world experience, whether that be a job, volunteer work, an internship, or community service. Instead of having a sum amount of class credits, students must have a sum amount of hours from these experiences in order to graduate. I ask you to sign this petition if you care about to generations before us, the future leaders of the world, and the students that are beyond scared straight about life after high school. Students are being taught, but they are not being taught how to live.
