Althought nobody has a gun to anyone's head forcing them to get a CC, these co's target people
who many times want to rebuild their credit after bankruptcy and
feel they "need" a CC to do that.
Some are mentally impaired and don't realize the trap they are getting into.
These co's should not be allowed to prey on those who don't know any better than to accept this offer from hell.
Does the USA want to stop further bankruptcies
Maybe a good start is to tell people they don't need to get involved with predators to "rebuild" their credit and then ban these predators from offering this dreadful offer to anyone who has filed bankruptcy.
At the very least, the US Trustee's should be required to give a very stern warning to everyone who files bankruptcy that the predators will come out of the woodwork and to beware. You don't need a credit card to rebuild your credit.
These fees are straight up robbery. People are already down on their luck and these banks are just waiting to kick them while they are down. Needs to stop.
