Very disappointed with the "leaders" of Our Lady's University..... Where are the leaders in the Church and when will they stand up and hold Notre Dame accountable!

Thank you Bishop Rhoades for protecting our Catholic teaching. We will continue praying for dissident priests like Fr. Jenkins.

A sad day again to learn that Our Lady's U is honoring one who has offered zero in his support of any of the pro life issues. Shame on the priests and the Fellows for their lack of courage in giving scandal to just be politically correct!

Wish I could be there to process and pray with the courageous students on Sunday. But made the trip to South Bend last weekend to visit our sophomore grandson.

The Laetare medal should have been presented to the courageous Little Sisters of the Poor, a congregation of Catholic sisters who truly represent Catholic values rather than Vice President Biden.

As an Irish Catholic, I am disappointed with the fact that Notre Dame won't use it's reputation to support a child's right to life and instead supports phony politicians.

My full support for the protest against ND for even considering an award of any Catholic medal to Joe Biden.

It is another scandal that has befallen Notre Dame that it sees fit to honor pro-abortion politician Joe Biden. Shame on Jenkins and all the Democrat apparatchiks that are running a once great Catholic institution.

My prayers are with you today. I pray Notre Dame revokes its invitation to honor Joe Biden, a vocal opponent of Catholic Truth. May God bless all the babies lost to abortion. And may God continue to bless Marriage as a union between a man and woman. And may Gid help Joe Biden become a faithful Catholic

Surely there are other prominent Catholics who uphold the Church's teachings and don't undermine them by voting for or supporting contrary policies.
The point of academic freedom is to be able to pursue (and defend) the Truth, not put every theory on an equal footing.
