This is long overdue, we are living here for 35 years it’s gone from bad to disgusting, people are robbed daily in this road, and drug dealers throw the drugs onto our property as the police chase them, they also jump the walls and there is often chaos with drug dealers shooting openly at each other, I have given up trying to do something about the devastation we have to live in daily, the subway MUST also be closed down completely , the gate is not solving the problem. This is a residential area, we pay rates and taxes but we have to live in this mess. I have signed this petition but I have very little hope of ever seen change in Mitcham Road, I have never seen people abuse a residential area in this manner turning it into a drug infested, mad house and dropping their dirt in this road as if it is a demarcated dumping area. The house is full of decent youngsters buying drugs and we have witnessed them taking the drugs in their cars parked right outside our driveways, if I ever see change here, it will be s miracle .........., it’s never going to happen not with the disregard the law has for the residents that endure this daily. We have no rights and no choice in this country, the sooner we accept that ......the better, it’s useless even signing this .,,,, but we continue to live in hope and continue to pray we live to see this road cleaned up for good....... one day ....
