I/We, the undersigned agreethat Scotland is the most centralised nation in Europe and that the Scottish Government’s agenda of further centralisation has seen powers systematically stripped from Aberdeen and hoarded in Edinburgh. From police to planning Aberdeen City Council is losing crucial powers to the central belt. Therefore we are calling for action to reverse this trend of increasing centralisation and want to see powers transferred back to the City of Aberdeen. By strengthening our City’s local democracy we restore local accountability and empower local communities
