To raise awareness for poverty and hunger here in our local community at Miami University and elsewhere, I am proposing a petition that suggests we each go one day without food.  After completing this action, we may be more aware of what it is actually like to be impoverished, and more likely to be involved with this issue in the future.  Sign this petition today to say that you would be willing to complete this action.
