After years of students requesting a Zeeman building café, this could actually happen!
A new joint Computer Science/Statistics/Maths building is currently being built, and once finished, it will free up some space in the Zeeman building. This means that the Maths Department is currently looking into uses for the extra space, with one option being a new café.
So please add your name if you are in favour of this, appending your course title to the name field (e.g. Name: Jane Smith G103)

I really thought this might just be a niche idea that fizzled out on its own. Seeing this level of enthusiasm from all of you proves that this isn't my project anymore, it is yours.

Long overdue!! Just hope they have decent options for lunch too (G100)
I think it's a great idea & will make the Maths department more lively and social.
Been asking this for years (when I was in the SSLC) thought the idea got completely taken off the table a while back but I am glad to see it back on there! (old G103 now PhD)
Nearing last year so I won't be able to benefit but this is something I've always thought would be so nice to have!
Please select the option "Show my name in the online signature list" if possible, so that I can assure the department that students taking Maths/Maths-based degrees are interested in this

Honestly having to walk all the way to uni house for a coffee is a drag. Defo support this.
