Seriously? why do they always try to ruin the best shows by toning them down. stop changing things that work!!!!
Keep it post-watershed. If you make it child friendly it will lose all the edge that made it good in the first place.
Ridiculous idea. The whole point is that it gets dark and gritty. Dont ruin it by trying to get more viewers in the afternoon.
just leave it the way it is. plenty of other stuff for kids to watch. torchwood is for the grown ups.
BBC stop trying to fix what isnt broken. Torchwood is fine the way it is. Dont water it down.

Keep it adult. Torchwood isnt torchwood if you try to sanitize it for kids. Leave the show alone.
