Postponement of California RDH License Renewals

I am unable to take the required CPR class, which needs to be taken in person, due to stay at home order currently in place because of COVID -19 crisis. Please allow us to postpone renewal of license without penalty!

Please postpone our RDH renewals. The dental community is extremely and severely impacted as have so many other occupations by the Covid 19 pandemic.

Please consider my petition to extend RDH license renewal deadlines due to COVID 19 and the inability to attend live CE courses as required by law.

It is difficult for anyone to renew CRP as well as to finish up on continuing education course due this pandemic of Covid Virus Course are being pulled and shut down

I don’t even need CEUs, but this is just the compassionate thing to do. Please force DHBC to change this policy so we can practice in compliance once the shelter in place is lifted.

This may not affect me since my license is later in the year, but it does affect MANY of our RDHs! Not only are the courses to get CEs been cancelled but a reduction in pay due to not being able to work will be very difficult to afford the renewals.

We are healthcare professionals that need assistance. Please help so we may contine to persue our careers and provide a necessary service. Thank yoi

Making a $200 payment at this time is a hardship for many of us. CPR is not available, we may not be able to work for months. Please consider postponing renewal fees. Thank you

Due to the shelter in place mandate, I may be unable to complete the BLS/CPR course that is a mandatory in-person course. I have registered for the course that takes place in about a week, but it's unlikely things are going to change to permit me attending.

Grant us the time we need for our education!

My license will expire on 5/31. At this point and with this situation, I don’t think I’ll be able to get all my CE units to renew my license in time.

I would love to pay my renewal, but with all that’s happening with our jobs with Covid 19, if it comes down to feeding my kids or renewing my license...well. I’d love it if you guys would support us in this time of need

Please postpone RDH and RDHAP license renewals for a period of time until hygienists can safely acquire our updated CPR recertifications. I need to renew my CPR and it needs to be live. I need my license to be active. Without CPR it lapses

I support this because I know some hygenists and the lack of income they are experiencing. Some are ineligible for unemployment insurance.
